Mo Farah has just become a father for the third time but is the British athlete expecting more children?
The 32-year-old took to Instagram to announce he is expecting twins… but not via the conventional method one may associate with having them….
‘My lip is expecting twins…..!!! #swollen,’ he shared with his social media followers on Thursday night as he accompanied the caption with a picture of a heavily swollen top lip.
Despite the current facial injury it’s been a good few months for the long-distance runner on-and-off the track.
In August he became the first man in history to pull off a distance ‘triple-double’ after claiming gold at the World Championships 5,000m and 10,000m events. The Beijing successes added to the golds he won in both track distance events at the 2012 Olympics and 2013 World Championships.

And earlier this week, the Teddington-based star saw the birth of his third child with wife Tania.
‘It’s a boy! So happy and excited to introduce the new man of the house to everyone’, he wrote in a statement.
‘Mum and baby doing well and the girls are absolutely buzzing to meet their new baby brother! Thanks to everyone for all the kind messages and good wishes!” he announced.’
The couple are already proud parents to three-year-old twin girls, Aisha and Amani, as well as Rhianna from his wife’s previous relationship.
